Bargain hunting

Had quite a fun weekend. Yesterday we went to the pub and Janie got mistaken for a prostitute. LOL! Some old bloke just came up to her outside when she was having a cigarette and asked her if she was working. The best bit – she didn’t really get what he meant and said yes‼ He asked where and she said by the station because she works in Co-Op up there, but she never said Co-Op. Then she realised what he meant and came running in & made us leave sharpish. Well funny.

Then today she dragged me along to the car boot sale on Radnor Park. We got loads of stuff for about £14, including Twin Peaks box set – bargain! And we met this bloke who sold us a couple of books of old photos of Folkestone & a thing about pubs. He was saying we should go to an auction, a friend of his went to one a few years ago and bought a box of old books for a few quid and one of them was an original Wicked Bible. He said it was well rare, he sold it for thousands of pounds.

So Janie's looked in the paper and she's decided we're going to go to an auction in Folkestone on July 18th. She can’t wait!

Summer's here

Things have been a bit hectic lately, my grandma hasn't been very well but I'm pleased to say she's much better now. Me and grandad took her for a walk down to Folkestone harbour and right up to Sandgate and back today, the weather was lovely. I love this time of year!

The beach!

It was lovely down at the harbour earlier, it's still gorgeous now I bet. The market was on and there was a jazz band outside the Ship playing sax and electric guitar. I didn't get very good photos, all my mates keep jumping out of the shot. :( Mind you I am camera shy too so I don't blame them.

Janie's dirty shoes! (She will kill me for posting this.)

Simonless towel.

Where have my feet gone?

Friday
[info]danmenassy
This weekend has been brilliant! I have figured out how to put photos on here so here's what I got up to. On Friday (or was it Thursday?) me and Janie had a walk round Folkestone town centre and the church and then we went onto the pub.

On Saturday I went to Canterbury with Nan and Grandad. It was really fun, there was a fashion show in the town centre. I'm not that big on fashion but the music and dancing was cool. And we ate in Cafe Rouge! Mmmmmmmmm.

Today me and my mates went down to Folkestone harbour and onto the beach! I took photos but I haven't uploaded them yet, I'm going to do that later.

Bye for now!

Hello!
[info]danmenassy
Hi I'm new here, a friend told me there's loads of things about music on here, I'm a big music fan. Love the manics, they're the best band ever, wish they would come to Folkestone! We've got a festival here in August, there's Ash and Feeder playing, can't wait!!!

Don't know what else to say now, I have got some nice photos to post later when I can be bothered but they're nothing to do with music!!! Me and my friend go on lots of walks, I like to take photos.

Add me!
